Ravi Kumar V	3d1236b0c8	media: rc: Add remote control event report from user space input ... Some of user space applications need to send the remote key events to kernel input subsystem, so for these type of applications this driver enables them to send key events to kernel. User has to send the key event type (pressed,repeated,released) and scan code value.
