cma: fix counting of isolated pages
Isolated free pages shouldn't be accounted to NR_FREE_PAGES counter. Fix
it by properly decreasing/increasing NR_FREE_PAGES counter in
set_migratetype_isolate()/unset_migratetype_isolate() and removing counter
adjustment for isolated pages from free_one_page() and split_free_page().

1) Fix an issue where after running a DCI app and exiting it,
second app does not receive any DCI data. Issue was due to
incorrect state of a flag used by SMD channel.
2) Add a mutex around shared data structures like cumulative masks.
Multiple clients may want to change DCI mask at the same time, so
mutex will prevent any corruption
3) Add support for health commands. The client request how many logs
were dropped and received.

Diag driver is adding a new feature to stream logs & events to a
user space application on Linux processor. This will eliminate
need to connect QXDM to receive diag traffic.
This is known as Diag Consumer Interface (DCI).

On certain targets, the CP heap should only be used
for secure allocations. Add a check to determine which
targets are allowed to make non-secure allocations from
the CP heap type. Targets with this restriction will
fall back to an alternate heap.

Extend the cp heap to allow memory to be allocated from
the contiguous memory allocator (CMA) instead of from
the standard caveout region. The option to use CMA or regular
carveout memory is configured via a parameter in platform
data.

New heap type ION_HEAP_TYPE_DMA where allocation is done with dma_alloc_coherent API.
device coherent_dma_mask must be set to DMA_BIT_MASK(32).
ion_platform_heap private field is used to retrieve the device linked to CMA,
if NULL the default CMA area is used.
ion_cma_get_sgtable is a copy of dma_common_get_sgtable function which should
be in kernel 3.5

This patch adds DMA_ATTR_NO_KERNEL_MAPPING attribute which lets the
platform to avoid creating a kernel virtual mapping for the allocated
buffer. On some architectures creating such mapping is non-trivial task
and consumes very limited resources (like kernel virtual address space
or dma consistent address space). Buffers allocated with this attribute
can be only passed to user space by calling dma_mmap_attrs().

Poor video quality is observed as VUI fps information is not present in
the encoded bit stream. Add support for VUI timing info in video driver

Allow users to specify "big page" mode when allocating GPU
memory. This will attempt to allocate contigious units of 64k
bytes per instead of the usual PAGE_SIZE units. If the allocation
fails, then automatically fall back to allocate the rest of the
region with 4K pages. This means that potentially any allocation
could be comprised of a mixture of 64k chunks and 4k chunks.

Userspace passes a set of values indicating how it
uses each buffer it allocates, which were previously
ignored. These are useful hints for debugging and
profiling applications. These flags will be exposed
through ftrace and debugfs in later patches.

This patch fixes up the broken suspend sequence for eMMC with sleep
support. Additionally it reworks the eMMC4.5 Power Off Notification
feature so it fits together with the existing sleep feature.
The CMD0 based re-initialization of the eMMC at resume is re-introduced
to maintain compatiblity for devices using sleep.
A host shall use MMC_CAP2_POWEROFF_NOTIFY to enable the Power Off
Notification feature. We might be able to remove this cap later on,
if we think that Power Off Notification always is preferred over
sleep, even if the host is not able to cut the eMMC VCCQ power.

Devices have various maintenance operations need to perform internally.
In order to reduce latencies during time critical operations like read
and write, it is better to execute maintenance operations in other
times - when the host is not being serviced. Such operations are called
Background operations (BKOPS).
The device notifies the status of the BKOPS need by updating BKOPS_STATUS
(EXT_CSD byte [246]).
According to the standard a host that supports BKOPS shall check the
status periodically and start background operations as needed, so that
the device has enough time for its maintenance operations.
This patch adds support for this periodic check of the BKOPS status.
Since foreground operations are of higher priority than background
operations the host will check the need for BKOPS when it is idle,
and in case of an incoming request the BKOPS operation will be
interrupted.
When the mmcqd thread is idle, a delayed work is created to check the
need for BKOPS. The time to start the delayed work is calculated based
on the host controller suspend timeout, in case it was set. If not, a
default time is used.
If BKOPS are required in level 1, which is non-blocking, there will be
polling of the card status to wait for the BKOPS completion and prevent
suspend that will interrupt the BKOPS.
If the card raised an exception, the need for urgent BKOPS (level 2/3)
will be checked immediately and if needed, the BKOPS will be performed
without waiting for the next idle time.

The write packing control will ensure that read requests latency is
not increased due to long write packed commands.
The trigger for enabling the write packing is managing to pack several
write requests. The number of potential packed requests that will trigger
the packing can be configured via sysfs by writing the required value to:
/sys/block/<block_dev_name>/num_wr_reqs_to_start_packing.
The trigger for disabling the write packing is fetching a read request.

This patch supports packed write command of eMMC4.5 device.
Several writes can be grouped in packed command and all data
of the individual commands can be sent in a single transfer
on the bus.

This patch adds packed command feature of eMMC4.5.
The maximum number for packing read(or write) is offered
and exception event relevant to packed command which is
used for error handling is enabled. If host wants to use
this feature, MMC_CAP2_PACKED_CMD should be set.

Overlay commit and display commit were two separate
ioctls doing similar things. This change consolidates
the two into one display commit ioctl. With this, we
can use the RGB0 pipe with an IOMMU framebuffer.

If the card and the host support BKOPS, and BKOPS is not enabled
yet, set the BKOPS_EN bit to enable BKOPS.

Enable eMMC background operations (BKOPS) feature.
If URGENT_BKOPS is set after a response, note that BKOPS are required.
Immediately run BKOPS if required. Read/write operations should be
requested during BKOPS(LEVEL-1), then issue HPI to interrupt the
ongoing BKOPS and service the foreground operation.
(This patch only controls the LEVEL2/3.)
When repeating the writing 1GB data, at a certain time, performance is
decreased. At that time, card triggers the Level-3 or Level-2. After
running bkops, performance is recovered.
Future considerations:
* Check BKOPS_LEVEL=1 and start BKOPS in a preventive manner.
* Interrupt ongoing BKOPS before powering off the card.
* How do we get BKOPS_STATUS value (periodically send ext_csd command)?
* If using periodic bkops, also consider runtime_pm control.

low power mode changes are causing issues like,delay in reponse to
touch , and controller is not recognizing the touch events as its
scan rate is also low in low power mode state . since controller is
not recognizing the touch in low power mode state , so only way
for the controller to come out of low power mode is to do multi-touch
and controller responds randomly to one of the touches and comes out
of the low power mode.

Check for for wcd9xx read error properly during probe.
Move the determination of codec type to function and
check for interface error during read operation for
I2C. Since slimbus master is changed the slim porbe
may be called later to I2C probe. Handle proper
releasing of reset gpio in case there was error
for I2C read.

Some hardware platforms can supply VPH_PWR without battery
or charger being present.
To avoid shutting down due to no connected power sources
from the perspective of software set a flag that forces
the DC supply to be online for this type of platform.

The battery alarm module provides interrupts when the battery
falls below or rises above a programmed threshold. This feature
is useful to wakeup the device when the battery is in low voltage
situations.

This ioctl provides a shorter route to enable/disable flow
on a given qdisc when compared to the traditional NETLINK
based communication. It is known to improve throughput when
data flow is throttled at a higher rate.

The demux is an in-kernel software component whose purpose is to take
an incoming TSIF stream and split it into multiple output channels
based on the PID field in each TS packet. Each output channel can be
used for a different purpose, such as audio, video or channel
information. In order to get good performance when moving such large
data streams around, the demux was placed in kernel-space as to
prevent copying memory buffers between kernel-space and user-space, at
least at this early stage in processing the traffic. Originally the
design of the TSPP driver was based on the earlier TSIF driver, so it
contained only a user-space API.

Content adaptive backlight control (CABC) support is needed to
control backlight by external PWM. It can be enabled by setting
"cabc_en = true" in the platform data wled_cfg structure.

Enabling this feature will allow the use of
PF_WAKE_ON_IDLE, a per task flag that causes that task,
or tasks woken by that task, to wake on an idle CPU if
there is one available. Note that due to the PF_WAKE_ON_IDLE
feature this will not cause a change in behavior for tasks
that do not have the PF_WAKE_ON_IDLE flag set.

Define logical id for display backend processing.
These ids are independent with hw implementation, could be used
for MDP4, MDP5 and future ASICs. Kernel driver implementation will
also be abstracted to the post processing user.

VADC/IADC peripheral is supported from PMIC 2.0 onwards.
Add version check to allow VADC/IADC reads if the
version is supported. Add probe defereal api for clients
who need to know if the ADC driver is ready. There is a
bug where the completion is not initialized. Fix it
by initializing it. Add support to disable the peripheral
after the ADC is read and enable it before starting a
conversion.
Add scaling functions to support reading the die temperature,
XO_THERM, batt_therm and batt_id. Add the ratiometric
calibration routine that uses the vref/gnd for calibration.
The ratiometric calibration is used for calibrating xo_therm,
batt_therm, batt_id.
Update the gain value used for calibration on the IADC
peripheral. PMIC 2.0 IADC peripheral uses 17.857mV instead
of 25mV for its gain calibration.
